The J. Pat Evans Research Foundation
is a tax-exempt corporation (sections 501c of the United States Internal Revenue Code) so gifts and contributions are tax deductible to the grantor.
The Foundation is organized exclusively for education and scientific purposes including the promotion, encouragement, and advancement of research and education in the sport of rodeo, worldwide. Contributions to The Foundation will provide a significant return on investment for the future of rodeo and the involvement of sports science in all equine and bovine endeavors. The Foundation’s medical, scientific and educational committees will spearhead specific groups and studies exploring the cause and prevention of injuries common to athletes in rodeo, bull riding and other equestrian sports.
