Research, education and developmental programming is an expensive undertaking, and without adequate funding very little progress can be made in understanding the basic physiological and psychological functions of the athletes in these most unique sports.
The J. Pat Evans Research Foundation is a unique opportunity for interested parties to establish a lasting legacy and become a “lifetime partner” to the history rich sport of rodeo and other equestrian activities. The contributor’s involvement in the foundation is critical to the advancement of rodeo and will benefit the athlete’s performance and ultimately influence the promotion of the entire sport. The Foundation is also an excellent platform to launch campaigns to inform and educate sports fans and other interested parties of the history of America’s original extreme sport and the uniqueness of the athletes who participate. The ultimate result of contributor’s support of The Foundation will be a direct contribution to the enhanced performance of the athletes and thus enhanced enjoyment by everyone of the sport of rodeo. |
